Stella Youse has been dedicated to harp study for nearly eleven years working under the tutelage of Molly Madden. She has received five-plus years of vocal training with instructors including Kendra Lee Carpenter at Swaha Studios. She has also spent three years performing with the East Central Illinois Youth Orchestra at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts along with three years performing for residents at Willowbrook Memory Support and Assisted Living. Currently, she is attending University Illinois Laboratory High School where she is involved in competitive diving. She is a passionate artist and musician who is interested in studying kinesiology and medicine in hopes of becoming an orthopedic surgeon one day. Stella’s musical inspirations are Keith Harkin, Celtic Thunder, Ray LaMontagne, Pearl Jam, and Sam Cooke. She looks forward to seeing Lionel Richie in person soon.

Notable past harp performances include:

First-place finalist in C-U’s Got Talent at Virginia Theater in 2019, performances at UCLA Men’s Gymnastics NCAA Championships, the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra 60th Anniversary,  61st Annual Champaign County Fair Queen Pageant, and numerous national anthems for University of Illinois sporting events.
